About
Finance news, verified at the source
Investfora is an independent finance publication. We report on markets, brokers and the rules that protect your money — and we hold every sentence to one standard: a reader must be able to follow any fact back to the register entry, filing or official source it came from.
What we publish
Daily coverage of markets and currencies built from official data; company results taken from the filings companies actually submit; a running record of regulator warning lists; educational guides that explain how money mechanics work; and the work of our research desk, which checks the licences brokers claim against the regulators’ own registers every day.
Where the facts come from
Regulators’ registers and press offices, central banks, national statistics offices, and companies’ own filings. We do not copy other publications’ reporting: where we point to it, we link out and say whose work it is. Market figures we display come from sources whose terms permit republication — which is why you will see Treasury yields and exchange rates here, and not proprietary index levels.
How the newsroom works
Much of Investfora runs on software we built and operate ourselves. Data collection from registers and official feeds is automated. Articles are drafted from locked fact sheets in which every figure carries its source, and no draft may introduce a fact that is not on the sheet. Before and after publication, drafts face an independent automated check that is instructed to find reasons to fail them; a published page that fails a later check is pulled from the site until it is corrected. The rules the system follows — and the decision to publish at all — are set and reviewed by a human. The full procedure is on our editorial standards page, and the licence-checking method on how we verify.
What we will never publish
Personal investment advice. Ratings that rank one broker above another. Promises about returns. Sponsored content dressed as reporting. If a future commercial arrangement ever exists on a page, it will be labelled on that page, in plain sight.
Corrections
If we got something wrong, we want the email: corrections@investfora.com. A confirmed error is corrected on the page it appeared on; a page whose premise fails is withdrawn, not quietly edited.
