Getting Started with Investfora: A Step-by-Step Guide
How to open an account, fund it, and choose what to invest in, with what you need to think about first.
What Investfora Is and How It Works
Investfora is a platform run by LIFT INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT SGEIC SA, authorised and supervised by the CNMV in Spain. It is designed for people who want to manage their own money across different types of investment, all in one place.
The way it works is straightforward. You transfer euros to Investfora by bank transfer, using a unique reference shown in your dashboard. When the money arrives and is matched—usually within one to three working days—it appears as your Investfora cash balance. From that one balance, you decide what to put it into.
Think of it like a single bank account that connects to many different places where money can be put to work. Instead of opening separate accounts elsewhere, you manage everything from your Investfora dashboard. This makes it easier to see your overall position and to move money around as your plans change.
What You Can Invest In Today
There are four main things you can put your money into right now. First, fixed-term deposits: you place money with a bank for an agreed length of time at a rate agreed from the start. The dashboard shows you what it will earn each day and exactly what you will get back when the term ends.
Second, business lending. Real businesses apply to borrow money through Investfora. Each listing tells you the risk grade, the interest rate offered, how much they want to borrow, how much funding they have already raised, the length of the loan, how often they will repay it, and what secures it.
Third, cryptocurrency. Investfora offers fifty coins at live market prices. You can swap euros for crypto in seconds and back again. You can start with as little as one euro. Fourth, trading. You can open a trading account with a broker, funded from your Investfora cash.
Real estate investment is coming to Investfora, but it is not open yet. Watch your dashboard for news when it is ready.
Opening Your Account and Making Your First Deposit
Opening an account takes a few minutes. You will need to verify your identity and provide basic information. Once your account is live, you will see a unique bank transfer reference in your dashboard. You use this reference to send euros from your own bank account to Investfora.
The first deposit must be at least EUR 250. After that, you can deposit any amount. When you send the money, you do not need to do anything else. Your bank will handle the transfer, and it will usually arrive within one to three working days.
The money does not go anywhere until you tell it to. It sits as cash in your account until you choose to put it into a fixed-term deposit, a business loan, crypto, or a trading position. You might want to leave some as cash too, ready to invest when you spot an opportunity.
What to Think About Before You Invest
The most important thing to understand is that the value of investments can go down as well as up. You may get back less than you put in. This is true for all four types of investment available on Investfora. Before you put money in, make sure you can afford to lose it.
Think about your reasons for investing. Are you saving for something specific? Are you looking to build wealth over time? How soon do you need the money back? Your answers will help you decide which investments make sense for you.
Consider how much you know about each type of investment. Fixed-term deposits are simple: you know exactly what you will earn and when you will get it back. Business lending requires you to read the listing and understand the risk grade and what secures the loan. Crypto and trading are more complex and faster-moving.
Think about how much money you are comfortable putting in and how you would split it. Spreading money across different investments can make sense. Putting all of it into one thing concentrates your risk. How you balance these things depends on your own situation and what you are trying to achieve.
Understanding the Different Investments
Fixed-term deposits are the simplest. A bank agrees to pay you a fixed rate of interest for putting money with them for a set time. You cannot touch the money during the term, but you know exactly what you will get back. The dashboard shows the daily earnings so you can watch it grow.
Business lending is different. You are choosing to lend money to a real business that needs to borrow. The listing shows the interest rate, the term, the risk grade, and what secures the loan, such as equipment or property. You are taking a risk that the business might not repay on time or in full.
Crypto is fast and simple. Fifty coins are available at live prices. You can swap euros for any of them in seconds and swap them back again whenever you want. The price moves constantly, sometimes sharply. You can start with one euro to try it out.
Trading lets you use the broker's platform to trade currencies, indices, shares, ETFs and commodities. This is faster and more complex than the other three. You need a trading account funded from your Investfora cash, and you need to understand how the broker's platform works.
AI ForaBot: Automated Trading with a Personal Manager
Investfora offers a paid service called AI ForaBot. This is automated trading with a dedicated personal trading manager. Instead of trading yourself, you subscribe to the service and the manager handles the trading for you. It is sold as a subscription on a one-year contract or as a lifetime licence that includes a full course.
If you are interested in AI ForaBot, your trading manager will quote you the price. It is not published, because prices are set depending on your circumstances. Simply ask your manager or contact Investfora to find out what it would cost for you.
Getting Started: The Practical Steps
Here is what to do. First, open your account on Investfora. You will verify your identity and provide basic details. Second, when your account is live, look at your dashboard and find your unique bank transfer reference. Third, log into your own bank and set up a transfer to Investfora using that reference.
Fourth, when the money appears in your Investfora cash balance, take time to look at what is available. Read the listings for business loans. Check the rates on fixed-term deposits. Look at the fifty coins available. If you are interested in trading, explore the broker's platform.
Remember that you do not have to invest all your money at once. You can start with one type of investment and add others later. You can also leave some money as cash, ready to invest when you see an opportunity.
There is no pressure to get it right straight away. The best starting point is to deposit your money, spend a day or two getting to know the platform, and then make your first investment in something you understand.
